Hi there all,
I recently uploaded my first few images and had them rejected on technical grounds. This walnut was one of them. I'm after a bit of advice as to how to pass the moderators requirements. Is it white balance, focus, subject matter etc. Any advice is greatly appreciated. thanks.
One reason that it is rejected because it's a jpg file and not jpeg file. Do check if it is 3mb file and not less than that.
Sorry, I disagree, Joyel. JPG and JPEG are the same file types. If the file size is wrong you do not get a "technical" rejection, it just refuses the file immediately.
White balance is wrong.
Have a read of this from Adobe about how to create better photos:https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/how-to/tips-stock-image-acceptance.html?set=stock--fundamentals--adobe...
Read this about adjusting white balance:
Thanks ricky336, I know its slightly off so i'll make sure i keep an eye on that going forward.
Hi Ralph, Thanks for the reply. This was a stacked image so i'll have to double check my edges and sharpness for future uploads.

Hi @Ian_Rob ,
I agree that it is a bit out of focus. I like the exposure as is, but it might be considered a bit over exposed. My conclusion is drawn from the pale appearance of the subjects. The shadows on the other hand are too dark. Details are lost.
