blocked account, no reason, no communication

Community Beginner ,
Nov 21, 2023 Nov 21, 2023

Hello,

My account got blocked 2 weeks ago, without getting any communication for the reasons.

I've been a committed contributor, following all the guidelines and requirements outlined in the contributor agreement. ALL OF THEM.

Can anyone here help me with guidance on how to reinstate my account?

If your account has been suspended, there is nothing that this community of peers can do for you. You will need to contact Adobe contributor support via the link at “Contact us”. Adobe will answer via e-mail, so watch your spam folder. The answer may take some time, depending on the workload of contributor support and the complexity of the investigation. So be patient and do not spam the contributor support.

Do not send an email. Only the "contact us" link will create a support ticket in the Stock Contributor Support system. As mentioned above, you must be patient, as it could take many weeks for Adobe to complete their investigation.

Adobe may temporarily suspend or permanently terminate a Stock Contributor account for any of the following:
1) Suspicious sales or refund activity,
2) They received an infringement complaint or "take down" notice from a 3rd party,
3) Suspected violation of Stock Contributor User Terms,
4) A technical problem that only Stock Support can fix.

Stock receives hundreds of inquiries daily.  It will take time to receive a reply.  Wait 15 business days.

Be patient and don't needlessly spam the system.

I still get no reply from them.

I wonder what is the reason of blocking?

My content is 100% of my creation, I have been following the terms and guidelines.. and yet after blocking, i got no communication, and no answer of my email...

In the meantime, check your spam folder.  Work on other projects.  Feel free to submit assets to other microstock services.

So, my account shows this message:

Dear contributor, your Adobe Stock contributor account has been de-activated. Please see your email for more information or Contact us.

Yet, I have not received any communication or email, neither in Spam, nor inbox or any other folder.

Can anybody help?

yeah, that's the default view for anyone who's account is blocked/de-activated/suspended and after you reply through the contact us link, you should get a reply back in a somewhat timely manner (usually within a week) just to explain that it's temporary and they are looking into your account or whatever and that if your account is restored you will need to go back and fix whatever was giving the problem. Usually the first response from them is very quick but dont expect anything if you contact them a second time. Many of us have had accounts blocked for months and are still awaiting review, while others got their account restored within days, weeks, or several months. Aside from a stock copy-pasted initial reply, you shouldn't expect anything further from them even if you reach out again so just hold tight and wait. As others have stated though, use the contact form they provide, dont email them directly.

Communication is not immediate. You need to wait, and watch your spam. Adobe will not discuss publicly the issues with your account. Nobody here can help you.

Did you read any of the posts in this thread before you submitted your question? It's been asked and answered many, many times here. No one outside of Adobe can help to get your account restored. Be patient while the investigation occurs, and don't spam Contributor Support with multiple contacts, as that just exacerbates the backlog that they must respond to

Meanwhile work on other projects. You may submit work to other microstock services if you wish.

So, after 3 months of account de-activation, a week ago my account got reinstated after removal of irregular credits. and when I ask them how to prevent future blockings, they informed me to report any spike in downloads..

2 days ago, I reported a spike in downloads, 45 downloads with around 50 usd...

Regrettably, my account is now blocked again

It is disheartening to face blockages despite adhering to your guidance and reporting potential issues promptly.

here in the community, I know you would say: contact them and wait patiently... I understand.

But waiting 3 months, is a long wait.

& getting blocked for a reason that is beyond my control, is disappointing.

The alternative is to quit. There is nothing that the community can do for you for such a problem. Adobe claims that most of the blocked accounts are blocked due to fraud.

In general, I would assume that no one has an interest in fraudulently buying your assets if you are not involved. So either the perpetrator does confuse you with someone else, or they want you out of business.

In general, this is also out of control of Adobe. They need to investigate this, and their investigation takes time. But yes, waiting 3 months is a long time.

Indeed, it is frustrating, but unfortunately this is the current situation with Adobe Stock. There seem to be many fraudulent schemes out there to falsely inflate sales, and Adobe doesn't seem to have any way to address them other than suspending accounts while the investigation is underway.
