Can i submit identical files, one as a EPS and one as a PNG.

I wouldn't do that. I would submit only the EPS/AI files. You can try, but when you try, submit first the vector file. Getting a refusal on this is not problematic, but it would get problematic, when you would submit hundreds of such files. That could be seen as spamming.

As additional information: I recently submitted an Adobe Illustrator file, and it gets offered as a vector file, a JPEG and a PNG with transparency. This is quite how I envision it being handled.

Thanks for the information, did you send the vector file without background?

My vector file has no solid background. I did send in a ZIP file, containing my Illustrator file and the corresponding JPEG file, as I always do because the Adobe system does not get the colours right.
My art board shows a white background, but basically, it's transparent, paper colour… 🙂

You're welcome. Please note: I did submit an Adobe Illustrator file, not an EPS, with the embedded PDF, as this allows also third-party programs to access the file. Editing may be limited when opening the PDF, but it gives you access to the file, without the need for the current Illustrator file.
