Hi @Gestosan,

How much Stock Photography experience do you have?  I ask because people don't come to Stock for blurry photos.  They want perfect photos. That's what they are paying for.

I can do special effects myself if I choose to.  It's best if you DO NOT "beautify" images for me.

Have a look at what other Stock Contributors are doing in your keyword categories.  Maybe that will help you to understand what sells.

Hi @Gestosan ,

It would be good seeing your photos so that we can better understand what the rejection is about. The subject of your photo must be sharp and able to crop easily. These are the type of photos most customers are looking for. If a customer wishes blur then that can be done using an editor. Having crisp images give your files more chances for sales. You should not be adding any effect to your images. They should be as close as possible to reality.

Your framing may have blur background if you do a closeup and your camera settings is as such to emphasize the subject and thus producing blurred background, but the subject must be sharp all around the edges. This is particularly useful when there is a busy background. An example is at https://stock.adobe.com/images/bunch-of-java-plum-flowers/298486337 . Here is another example of a close-up of a single flower on a ginger floret,  https://stock.adobe.com/images/zingiber-officinale-flowers/303268145 .

Your forefront must always be in full focus.

I hope this answers your question.

Best wishes

Stock photography is about craft, not art. Your pictures need to be technically correct, so that the buyer can beautify them at his needs. If they aren't, he or she can't use them.

So please produce technically correct pictures. And they may well look beautiful.
