First Picture rejected - Critique welcome

Hello! I am an amature photographer and new to posting my images here. This is my first image that has been rekected and I am just wondering what may be specifically wrong with my image that resulted in 'quality issues'. Thank you so much!

Very little of the cat is in focus due to the narrow depth of field, and you've cut off the feet and tail. Chroma noise is also present.

In addition to the great advice @Jill_C has already given you, there is some exposure adjustment needed, particularly with the white point.

From a composition point of view, there is a lot of empty space on both sides of the cat.  It might be worth trying a longer focal length that compresses the field of view more to eliminate some of that space.
