Hi everyone,
I'm reaching out because I'm experiencing significant delays in the moderation process for my files on Adobe Stock. I uploaded a batch of 5 illustrations over 2 months ago, and they're still pending review. Additionally, I have another 6 files that have been waiting for a month, 2 files for 19 days, and 3 more for 10 days.
While I understand that the review process can take up to 8 weeks, these delays seem excessive, especially given the volume of content I've submitted. I've checked my files multiple times to ensure they comply with Adobe Stock's guidelines, but I haven't been able to identify any issues.
Has anyone else encountered similar delays recently? Is there a way to contact Adobe Stock directly about this? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help!
By reading a little on this forum you will realize that many contributors are in the same situation as you. Some wait 3 or 4 months (or more) Don't worry, the problem is not on your side.

Thank you very much for your response, but you know, previously it didn't take this long to evaluate an uploaded file, so after more than two months, I thought there might be some issue.

Whatever you checked, it won't help you to get your assets moderated at a faster pace. As long as you can submit the files, you are fulfilling all the preliminary conditions for getting your assets moderated. However, moderation can take time, and many people reported waiting times well beyond the announced 8 weeks. There is no way to accelerate this. And it is not in relation to the number of submitted assets. It's simply standard procedure these days.
Contacting Adobe contributor support will get you a stock text answer. Many contributors are waiting, and there are millions of assets that are moderated each month. It's just that there are more submissions than the moderators can handle.

Okay, I understand, and I thank you for your response. However, I have personally noticed that the waiting time has increased significantly in recent months, now exceeding even that of my submissions. Probably, as you said, the number of submissions is so high that it surpasses the moderators' ability to manage them.

Adobe Moderators add around a MILLION new assets to the database every day, which means that they probably review considerably more. Review time is quite variable right now. I've had some assets reviewed overnight, others take longer, and some are stuck at the back of my queue for >5 months. There is nothing we can do to influence the process, so we just have to wait patiently.

Well, I preferred to ask for help because I thought there might be some issue or that perhaps they had suspended the ability to evaluate files for some reason. But I believe you are right, so we can only wait. Thank you again!

I don't understand, in that case why my new assets are moderated within 2 weeks while the old ones have been waiting for moderating for more than 6 months? Maybe they just don't see them anymore?

Many Contributors have reported the same issue on their accounts - older images seem to have been forgotten while newer images are reviewed more quickly. I have 12 images on my account that have fallen in the same "black hole" for ~ 6 months. I've decided to resubmit them and delete the old ones.

Thanks. Do you already have any result in the end? Were these images moderated?

I deleted some "stuck" images earlier this year, and they were finally reviewed, though it still took quite some time; in other words, they didn't move to the head of the line in my queue.

Como posso excluir imagens "presas", não vejo botão algum para essa finalidade na seção? Pode me ajudar?

Reduce the size of your browser window. The "delete" text is located at the bottom right-hand side.

I have the same problem .. 12 still pending when I uploaded another 48 which all went through within a week or so but the original 12 are still stuck after 2 months or more. I thought perhaps different moderators work on different themes - or maybe certain catefories are fast-tracked - ie landscape, environment, industry, etc. but doesn't seem to be the case with mine so will be interested to see replies.

See this answer from @Jill_C . https://community.adobe.com/t5/stock-contributors-discussions/help-files-stuck-in-moderation-for-ove...
There is no easy solution to this, and there is no real solution for the issue. You need to decide when it is time to delete the asset and to resubmit. You can do it one by one.

There's nothing you can do to hasten the review process. Many of us are experiencing the same delays, and all we can do is wait our turn in line.

Okey thanks for the reply from your comments it seems clear to me that we are all in the same boat.

Stock receives thousands of submissions per week. There's nothing you can do about the backlog except wait patiently and work on other projects.

Thank you for your response and also for your advice, but I already work on other platforms, not just stock services. To manage everything, a 24-hour day is no longer sufficient; I would need much more time. That's why I was hoping for a shorter evaluation period for submitted files, as it was much quicker in the beginning. However, as some of you have confirmed in your replies, the volume of submissions has increased dramatically, and the moderators can no longer keep up.

I have had several photos in the Black Hole. I have found the by cropping or otherwise making a significat change to the photo, they seem to suddenly get review. I have no idea why.

Coincidence. Re-submitting alone, without any changes besides the file name, usually does the trick.

I think what you're saying is that you delete the original submission, alter the image, then resubmit it. It's not possible to alter an image that is under review.
