Hi,
I´m new to stock and I recently had this picture rejected for quality issues. Zooming in I can see that the face is not 100% sharpen, but I would appreciate if you could indicate more errors on the picture, so I can improve my skills.
Thank you so much in advance

All those white/orange specks might actually have existed on the monkey's face, but they come across as dust spots. I'd clean off of them up. The food in his mouth kind of destroys the image's appeal in general, but that might just be me.

Thank you so much @daniellei4510 for your super quick feedback. Yes, that comes with the monkey xD I didn´t realised about that, but you are right. The food was more about a feeding scene, but you are right the way it's presented might not be the best.
Thanks!

Sharpness is not so much the problem. The eyes are sharp and a little more sharpening would do the affair.
The major issue with this asset is the exposure. The ape is quite dark and needs some lightning. However, the light situation is very difficult with these patches of overexposure. You also have colour noise.
And you have “hot” pixels that you need to correct:
The food in the mouth is probably more a matter of table manners. I don't think the presenters would have rejected the picture because of the food.

Hello,
Two issues I see are the colour balance which could be tweaked a bit, as there is a slight green cast due to the foliage, and the exposure.
As @Abambo pointed out, the background has some very bright spots, which distract the eye. You want to focus on the monkey's face.
So, I suggest crop down to the monkey's face and focus on that. This way you can also crop out the bright areas.
A quick example:

Hi @Nuria27707686blp5 ,
There was too much a shallow depth of field. Also there is a small amount of chromatic noise. You need to zoom up to between 100 and 200% and search the file in details to find all the issues.
You will notice that this area of the animal has multiple foreign colors.
Best wishes
Jacquelin
