How long does it take to review your submissions?

I have uploaded 5 files and it has been in the review section for 8 days now. It still says 'files will be reviewed by the moderation team within the next few days.' but it's been 8 days. Is this common?

Unfortunately this is totally normal these days. It can take 1-2 weeks at the Moment. See also other Topic here where it is the same. In the future it may be a bit better, but for now it is as it is. Hope that helps a bit.

If they are illustrations or AI generative, it can now be 2-3 months. People generated so many AI pieces that the system completely overloaded, and the reviewers (actual people) couldn't keep up.

This seems to still be the case. My current batck of AI Generated flagged, AI Generated Tagged in Title & Body Illustrations are sitting at over a month.

I actually cancelled my AI Subscription because I need the feedback from consumers to course-correct and make more material that Adobe's customers want. This might help you save money while waiting for Adobe to get around to you.

It is true and that's a pitty! If you have to wait two weeks it is not a tool we can use in our field. Cross fingers it will be solved pretty soon,

I think there may be a misunderstanding, because this discussion started in the wrong forum - it is in the forum for Stock Customers, but the problem applies only to Stock Contributors. There is no delay for stock customers.

It's hard to see why, for a contributor, a delay of 2 weeks (or 3 months) should make it "not a tool we can use in our field". If Adobe Stock was a news agency, a delay to current content would be a big problem, but that's not its job. Its job is to source excellent timeless content for its commercial customers, from countless suppliers.

Welcome to the Community Forum. It appears to be your first visit here. While you're here, take some time to peruse the other recent posts, and you will learn that review delays are a frequent topic of discussion here. If you have submitted Generative AI assets, you can expect a very long wait, perhaps 1-2 months or even longer. Due to the huge influx of such assets, many from contributors submitting hundreds, or even thousands, at a time, the queue has grown dramatically. There's nothing you can do to hasten the process

Evergrace, expect 2-3 months. We all have to be patient. Do NOT keep spamming Adobe contributor support, this may get you blocked!!

Patience! You do not need to get an immediate answer. This said, Contributor support answers by e-mail, so watch your spam folder. Without saying that this is the case with you, it may well be, that you got an answer, but didn't consider the answer as an answer. This happened multiple times with other contributors because the answer was not what they wanted to read.

If you follow the discussions in the contributor forum, you will see that a waiting time of 11 days could be normal currently. It's like driving to work during the rush hour.

Badgering customer support repeatedly for such a routine matter clogs their response system even further, and you might not even get a response because they simply don't know how long it will take. The subject of review delays has been discussed here in the forum for many months, as well as in the Adobe Stock Discord channel. You should subscribe to either or both (this Forum & the Discord channel) to stay informed on Adobe Stock matters.

Nor will you receive an answer.  Be patient. Everyone is waiting the same as you.  Work on other projects while you wait.  Review times vary depending on how many assets are ahead of yours in the wait queue.  It could take days or weeks.

On average, Photos & Vector Graphics are reviewed in the order received within 5  - 15 business days.
Illustrations & Generative AI could take 1 - 3 months due to the immense backlog of AI submissions.
