I have Stock photos that have currently been waiting for review for over 16 days

They have been submitted as Photos, not Illustrations, and certainly not AI.

The banner on the Adobe Stock page says that "moderation may take up to 8 weeks".

My understanding is that AI artwork is causing a backlog in the moderation queue for Illustrations.

However, since mine are photos, is it possible that something else is going on?

I ask because in a quick browse through the discussions, it seemed like photos were getting reviewed in 6-10 days... 

I realise this post is a pretty common one, which is annoying.... Sorry about that.

But if there's an actual problem, maybe this will jog a response?

There is no problem, other than a continuing high quantity of submissions and long queues of unreviewed assets. Review time is unpredictable, and many are waiting a long time for their assets to be reviewed. No pattern has emerged to be able to state unequivocally that one asset type is getting reviewed faster than others. There's nothing we can do to hasten the process. All will get reviewed eventually. Be patient.

Few days before some one posted that AI generated content and original self created content have different time period for reviewing. But as my experience it takes same time.

I have some images stuck in queue for two months now. Video takes a few days to approve. Something changed - it never used to take this long. Possibly the inspectors were on summer break?

Reviews have been running quite long for many of us for a while. No one knows why and Adobe isn't saying.

8 weeks is the current standard and published waiting time. It could be less, it could be more. It all depends on the number of assets in the waiting queue and the resources available to moderate them.

Review times vary from 1-3 months.

Be patient. It shouldn't be much longer.
