This is just one of over 1000 drilling rigs in North America and even thousands more around the world. Why was the photo rejected? There is nothing unique about this rig that would jeopardize anyone's privacy or propriety. Further, the picture could have been taken from the side of a public road, as wells are sometimes drilled very close to public access. Why was it rejected? The rig workers are silhouettes from a distance with nothing unique and thus anonymous.
Adobe: Please tell me exactly why you rejected the image.

Adobe do not comment, or have an appeal process. But they DID give you a specific (if general) reason. So we don't waste your time, please tell us their reason. Also, did you include a property release, one will certainly be needed as the owner could identify it.

Rejection reasons vary from from commercial appeal and non-compliant files to intellectual property and quality & technical issues. I suspect the latter because the lighting isn't great and the image is too grainy.
