Images Rejected Due to Quality Issues – Need Feedback

New Here ,
May 27, 2025 May 27, 2025

Hello,

Recently, several of my images were rejected due to “quality issues.” I have carefully reviewed them but have been unable to clearly identify the specific problems that caused the rejections. I would greatly appreciate it if someone from the community or Adobe team could review my images and provide feedback on what may be wrong (e.g., noise, focus, lighting, artifacts, etc.).

This feedback will assist me in improving the quality of my future submissions.

Thank you in advance for your support.

The photo is slightly underexposed. The background is not very apealing. The bottom right is a little to closely cropped.

With a spirit to guiding you and helping you I suggest you slow down when you are shooting. Walk away, come back, download to computer, take a look.  This photo is fine as far as composition is, but there are flaws that are obvious right away

-Your backgorund is bubbling on the bottom left corner, WHY?

-the black background is too uneven, specially where the two papers meet on the left and right sides.

-the lighting is flat... this can be a great shot even if you are limited with lighting think adding shaddows "mood"

The beauty of digital is that you don't have to wait for the lab to see what you did.

Keep playing and little by little you will polish your craft

Weird light on the side and bottom left that I fixed a little bit here. I'm not sure what's on that plate, but it could probably be straightened as well.

I despise wobbly tables in restaurants. It's a pet peeve of mine.

Your condiments are noticeably leaning, implying that they are not resting on a level surface. It's a distraction to the viewer because once you see it, you can't unsee it.  It says, 'something is amiss here.'

Exposure is OK, you could work the contrasts. Picture composition is bad, you should have needed a more equilibrated framing, instead of putting the main subject in the middle, with the small containers in a corner. .

The tablecloth/top shows distracting reflections, such as dents in the table..IMG_3137.jpeg

I do not know what material it is, but it is not a great background and is too shiny.

The small containers should have been placed more carefully, but especially, the content suggests that the table was not level.

Your backdrop is not great:
