Dear Adobe Team,
I have been a contributor to Adobe Stock for a few years and have recently begun submitting editorial content. However, I have noticed that certain types of content are consistently being rejected, and I would appreciate some clarification to better understand the specific guidelines and criteria for acceptance. Specifically, I submitted a series of photographs featuring the Samsung brand, taken at the Samsung store on Oxford Street in central London. The images solely depict the brand’s signage and storefront, without any identifiable individuals or additional elements. Despite this, the photo was rejected. I am curious to understand why this particular content or this tech brand does not meet Adobe Stock’s editorial standards, especially as I have observed similar submissions from other photographers being accepted and shared on the platform. Could you kindly provide further insight into the reasons for these rejections? Understanding the specific requirements or concerns would greatly assist me in aligning my future submissions with Adobe Stock’s guidelines.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Best regards,
SCA London Media

This should have been posted to the Adobe Stock Contributor forum rather than the Stock forum, which is for Buyers.
You are not addressing Adobe directly in this forum and will receive no response from them. I have found acceptance into the illustrative editorial collection to be quite subjective. Sometimes when I submit 2 images from the same shoot, 1 will be accepted and 1 will be rejected. They also reject if the image doesn't have a "strong editorial concept", but nowhere is that defined.

Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do to dispute the findings of the Moderator.
We are looking for imagery intended to illustrate articles on current events and news, focused on conceptual imagery using real brands and products to convey strong ideas.
The most common cases for rejection from that collection are:

There is no different guidance for editorial use only assets and standard assets. The only difference is that you may ignore some IP rules, but in exchange, the asset needs to be newsworthy. The additional guidance is here: https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/illustrative-editorial-content.html
It seems to me, that your issues is more a lack of understanding how Adobe stock works, than missing guidance. So I highly recommend you to read the guidance, and if you have additional questions, post an asset in the contributor forum for advice.
