Issue with property release for an AI picture

Hello everyone,

I've been making and selling AI pictures for the past month. Everything was going fine until I started working with "portrait" type of content. I struggle to understand why some of my pictures are rejected because of property release.

I think I followed the guidelines, filled up the form as requested, but still, no way to get those pictures past the PR process.

I did not use any model as reference, no trademark nor brand is involved, no name of famous people... So this picture should fall into the property release form and not the model release one. I got some content that was accepted with the property release who look fairly similar, only with a different theme.

I'm at loss here. Any idea?

Thanks

I can't read French very well, but I think you need to add something in the DESCRIPTION field, such as "created entirely by AI, not based on actual human figure".

My Property Releases for AI don't have anything under "Description," but for the "Signature" I have 'Fictional person(s) created with generative AI,' rather than an actual signature as shown in the example provided. This may have thrown the moderator off, since an AI model wouldn't be able to provide a signature. Just a guess. In any case, I haven't had any rejections over Property Releases with the exception of a half dozen early on before I was made aware of the requirement.

for what Signature do you have that ? I filled the form in english again, but in the property one you do not have any model signature.

I signed as property owner and as artist, in which field did you put "fictional person created with genereative AI" ?

I have my name as "Artist," and Fictional person(s) created with generative AI for the Witness. Should have that clearer. I also have "Fictional person(s) created with generative AI for Description & Location under Recording Session.

I wouldn't mix French and English. Either you submit an English release with all English, or you submit a French release with all French.

[Moderator deleted private information. Please do not post private information like e-mails and phone numbers]

my adobe ID is the same as the name on the form, and I had some "people" pictures validated before...

How odd. I made a direct comparison between your latest form and my own and it appears to me you're doing everything correctly. The only difference I see (and I don't know why this would be cause for rejection) is that I place the finished edited photo into the release form, rather than a screenshot from your AI program.

Is there something wrong. An official clarification is needed. Because I go to the page of the generated model in the sale, I click on the link "same model" and I get a list of different AI-generated people.
It turns out that the supplier uploaded ONE model release (not a property release) for all images and not a separate one for each AI illustration.

Yes, i saw some people use the model release form instead of the property one. I tried it but it failed. So I did the property one which seems more honest to what it is. I just don't understand why this picture was accepted :

NcorpLuxury_2-1689614574824.png

And this one wasn't :

NcorpLuxury_1-1689614534203.png

with the exact same form and method...

I sent a message to adobe stock but it was a while ago and i got no answer so you guys are my last hope ^^. I can try without the AI stuff around the picture @daniellei4510 . I don't know if it'll make any difference but i would have tried everything this way.

It is indeed necessary to have a property release for AI images. As for why one image was accepted and the other wasn't, it can sometimes be difficult to determine. I've personally experienced a similar situation where an image I thought would be accepted was rejected, while another image (which I was unsure about) got approved. Additionally, I've noticed that some of my black and white or monochromatic AI-generated images have been accepted, even though they are typically rejected.

At this point, I've adopted a philosophy of moving past rejections. Most of the rejections I faced were early on, but they taught me valuable lessons. Some more recent rejections felt arbitrary, and it's hard to say why. Instead, I focus on consistently uploading 3 to 7 new images per day while ensuring beforehand that they are as presentable as possible, Then I hope for the best.

The second image has obvious techinical quality problems. No doubt that's why it was rejected.

hello @Nancy OShea I understand that some pictures are rejected because of quality, and that's not an issue. However, the pictures i'm talking about are rejected because of property release. They never reached quality check.

They stay only a few hours in validation, and the rejection is marked as a property release one. It's written on the side like this :

NcorpLuxury_0-1689626847582.png

(sorry it's in french, didn't manage to switch the account to english to show you but the reason is cleary stated). Quality issues has it's own text. What I want to understand is why 19 of my pictures don't pass the property release when it seems that it was filled as its supposed to be.Why some of them got accepted before with the form and now it doesn't work anymore.

Property release doesn't seem like something that should be arbitrary. Judging the quality of a picture ? sure. But this is just about providing information on a form. The information was provided, and it didn't work. I wish I could understand why, out of curiosity and to adapt for my next submissions.

I understand the feeling @daniellei4510 though i've been doing it for little time, it sometimes feel pretty random when things are accepted or not. So far, I just ignored it, reworked, retried, abandonned and moved past as you say. But I'd really like to understand what's happening with property release, because it seems to be "the easy step". It's a yes and no situation, either the form is ok or something's missing... Anyway, thanks a lot for your help!

You need to change the region to an English-speaking region at the “Dashboard”/“Tableau de bord” level, before going to “Fichiers transférés”.

Fake person: property release.

Real person: model release.

Yes, but you mixed languages on the release, at least on your first. Even if that is a guess in the blue, mixing languages is always a bad idea.

For example, now in the top portfolio (author 205917148) of the week, by clicking on a girl and selecting all the releases of this model, we get all the photos of both grandfathers and men, and so on. That is, the author used one release for all generated images.
The question is how to make such a release "for everything", so as not to have a separate release individually for each image?

I think they must have done a property release and a model release ? or just a model release one and it was possible back then ? I noticed that too
