Issues with Approval Delays, Declining Sales, and Payment Processing

Hello Adobe Stock Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I have been experiencing several issues with my Adobe Stock account recently, specifically:

- Declining Sales: I have noticed a significant decrease in the sales of my photos and videos. Are there any recent changes in the algorithm or sales process that might explain this?

- Approval Delays: The approval process for new photos and videos has become significantly longer. Currently, it can take up to a month for approval, whereas it used to take only two to three days. Please note that none of my content is AI-generated. Previously, AI-generated content had longer review times, but my content is not AI, so I hope this is not affecting the review process.

- Delayed Payments: The processing time for payments has also increased noticeably. Payments now take up to two weeks, whereas it used to be between 7 to 10 days.

These issues are greatly impacting my work and raising concerns about the future of my activities. If you could provide any information regarding the reasons for these changes and possible solutions, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you for your attention,

You are not addressing Adobe here but contributors like yourself. Many of contributors are asking the same questions and have the same experiences, but we do not have answers for you, nor can we provide solutions.

Review time is the single most frequent topic of conversation here in the forum. Read some of the other recent posts.

I am not seeing declining sales in my account, though there are the typical variations from week to week.

Payouts are consistently occurring on work day 10. Depending on when you submit your request, say late in a Friday, youncould be waiting 13-14 calendar days.

Stock gets thousands of submissions each week.  Sometimes more as we appraoch peak holidays. Backlogs are to be expected. Wait times vary by demand and how many staff are available to handle it.

Customers buy what they need when they need it.  You can't control purchase habits.

Be patient. Work on other projects.

Take some online courses to improve your skills.

Update your Portfolio website & do some social media promotion.

That's the best you can do.

I jsut checked under my 'In review' tab and there are some images there that have been waiting for 8 months. Is anyone here having that much of a delay - or should I contact adobe?

I would contact Adobe. That's far too long. Will it help? I dunno. But it's worth a try.

I did - just received a stock reply saying there may be a delay of up to 6 weeks etc. I suspect almost that a real human didn't even read my message, because I woulda thought 8 months is a little over 6 weeks 😄

8 months is excessive.  Did you use a bulk method to submit?  Maybe that's the problem.

I would delete the assets from review, rename the files and resubmit them one at a time.

There are about 25 images waiting in there, mostly submitted in twos or threes. I'll try renaming and resubmitting though - thanks for the tip.
