I keep getting pictures denied because of quality issues.  Not comlaining, as I'm very new to photography and I'm obviously doing something wrong.  Any insight in to what it is would be appreciated.  Thank you!

Greetings!

If you zoom in to 100% view on the bird photo, you'll see there is noticeable chromatic aberrations, the main subject isn't all the way in focus, and there is noticeable noise.  Formthe focus, the depth of field appeared to be too shallow for this shot.

Mostly the same for the Banded Wing Dragonfly photo, although it appears the focus is soft due to missed focus or camera shake.  The chromatic aberrations are green along the branch in this photo.

The reviewers are almost guaranteed to look at photos between 100%-200%, so it's recommended contributors do the same before submitting.

Good luck with future submissions 🙂

In addition to the issues noted by @George_F  and @jacquelingphoto2017 , in the first image the dragonfly is too small in the frame which should have been cropped tighter.

Of course!  It's also important to remember that a rejection from Adobe doesn't mean it's a bad photo.  Artistic expression and technical perfection are often at odds with each other.  Some of my favorite photos would never pass as stock.

Cheers!

Hi @Joseph289584536bjl ,

The first photo is noisy, underexposed and has color fringing on the edge.

The second has excessive noise and the white balance is a bit off.
