Hi dear contributors,
I would like to touch base to discuss about sales experience in my account.
So first of all everything went well, my account was growing daily bases, and I've reached very good results in 2-3 months. And then two weeks ago my sales amount dropped almost to nothing. Let's say for example I was doing around 100$ weekly and it just dropped to 15-20$ weekly.
I am thinking, what could cause such issue. Because from what I imagine that, if account it doing good, and getting better daily, and also the rating improves, it should'nt drop like that..
Please advise, what could be the reason from your point of view
Thanks

AI maybe? In general, I think stock sales are going to see a slowdown in the months ahead as more and more customers turn to AI to create their own assets. This might, in turn, result in a number of stock contributors opting out of the business as a result, especially those who are putting in a lot of work and realizing very little return for their efforts. This will then result in less competition among stock contributors and, since the vast majority of stock customers will never develop an interest in AI and continue to rely on stock, sales will again increase going forward. But its just a theory. Or not even that. Maybe just a wild guess.

I have both types of images, but mostly AI was sold out in the last 3 month.
Since many contributers started uploading AI videos, that could cause slowdown as well , maybe ?
because the same happened with photos when AI images appeared in Adobe.

Maybe. In the end, I suspect there are multiple factors involved at any given time. I don't have a huge number of assets available but my daily sales have always remained consistent (though small) on a daily basis. Except yesterday. It was the first time in months that I didn't make at least one sale on a Sunday. But I'm not gonna beat myself up trying to figure out why. 😉

Two weeks ago was the week preceding the Easter holidays, which is normally a slow time as many schools are closed and families take time off. Last week started to return to normal.

I hope that's just it, and nothing wrong is going on with my profile.

If your account has been deactivated, you would know it because there would be a banner across your Dashboard stating so.

A deactivated account has zero sales.

There are always fluctuations in the sales pattern. You had now Eastern. During such holidays a lot of people are taking a few days of. The planned that in advance, so many sales happend before.
You really can only compare sales based on long term experience. Many factors can play into this, including not having the right assets for what gets prepared now.
You won't get inside informstion from Adobe on this. You simply need to continue to contribute and keep your account alive with new and thrilling assets.

Welcome to sales. 😊
Seasonal fluctuations in sales are normal. It comes with the territory.
Customers buy assets when they need them.
Now that Spring Break is over, people are returning back to work & school. Between now and summer vacation season, you should see more sales. And then sales will drop-off again & resume in the fall. That's the cycle.

Thanks Ricky, that's what I wanted to know, to be more relaxed knowing it is a normal process.
