Hi everybody
I have a question
I know that at Christmas and occasions, the sales rate begin to decrease for some images. And the sales of the event photos start to increase.
I know that the quality and number of photos also determine the sales rate
for me: I had nearly a steady sales rate. There were many types of pictures being sold.
But ,During Christmas, this rate dropped by about 80%, which is normal. Because i don't have Christmas photos
But why is the sales rate still low? Of course it gets a little higher but it's still low after Christmas ending
For you, is it now normal or the sales rate of normal photos still quite low?
Putting aside the usual holiday slowdown and seasonal assets, I believe the main reason for a slowdown in sales for any particular AI Contributor is increased competition. Adobe Moderators have added an average of ~1,000,000 new AI assets to the database EVERY DAY since about August of last year. A year ago there were 34 million AI assets in the database; now there are nearly 237 million. It gets harder and harder for your assets to float to the top of the Buyer's search results.

This may be a cause because of the very low Christmas sales, or that may be a normal consequence of many new assets in the database, or that may be that your assets are not high in demand or that may be a different consequence. Nobody knows, as we do not have any insight in the overall sales and the sales per contributor. Those numbers stay Adobe confidential.

Oddly enough my sales have dropped to zero. The drop started in October and I reached zero sales this week which is the worst week since I started a year ago. I am still uploading pictures normally but it is really frustrating.

The buyer decides what they buy. You contribute or you do not contribute. It's your choice.

Same,
I don't think it's because the market is constantly changing,Many people are suffering of lower sales after October so it is Excluded that this is due to a change in the market and stock exchange.

The more you sell, the more visible your assets are.
Customers search for content by keywords and phrases.
Are you maximizing your sales potential with good quality titles, keywords & descriptions?

How do you know that many people are suffering? Stock exchange is something different.

Yes, but postings here are not representative, and people selling more do not complain.

Did they add the images to the stock at once?
If that is true, that might explain the problem.
If they didn't add the images to the inventory as a package, sales would have gradually decreases

I understood what you meant after rereading the message so ignore my last message.

You can never delete messages. Even standard forum moderators can't. At some point, you will gain the ability to correct your postings. Meanwhile, best is to leave a second message to ask a moderator, either to correct or to move out of sight a message (that is something forum moderators can do.)
I'll leave your message as this, you found the other correct method to address this. 🙂
