Adobe has been silent on the specifics of the upload limits which were implemented a few months back as a response to the massive influx of Generative AI assets. However, we have gleaned from various posts here and in the Adobe Stock Discord Channel that the limit varies by Contributor. Apparently those who have a low percentage of rejects and have actually sold some of their AI assets can earn a higher limit. Why? You put your 50 assets in the queue and wait for acceptance. What do you want to do other? 50 in a month would be OK for me.

If you have really a 50 assets upload limit, you need to upload only the best. You will have a high acceptance rate, and your upload limit will grow. If you submit only scrap, your limit will narrow. I think that is a great deal, to handle this.

Given the huge influx of AI, and the initially high rejection rate, I don't think that implementing a small limit on new Contributors is unreasonable. Think of it as an interview. If the first submissions are acceptable, then the limit will be raised. There are now more than 12 million AI assets in the database, and probably millions more queued up waiting to be reviewed. Adobe is not hungry for more AI stuff. I have been submitting photographs for 5+ years and have never had 50 pending at any o

I think putting a limit of 50 assets for new users is exactly what is needed for helping the review process return to normal.  Without the queue being clogged up with 1000's of assets submitted by people who may not understand the process and along with other measures put into place, review times should shorten.  This also means contributors can't start a new account when they reach their limit and bypass the hurdles put in place to keep the system from getting overwhelmed.

50 submissions is a lot for a first-time contributor.

The question is how many of them will be accepted and sell?  It doesn't matter if their assets are reviewed this month or next.  It all balances out at year end.  🤔

The limit is meant to encourage you to carefully edit your submissions, not upload a bunch of similars and ensure that they meet Adobe's quality standards. Review time is now estimated at 2 months or more. While you're waiting, you can review your submissions again and ensure that they meet all the requirements, and you can continue to create new assets to be uploaded at a later time.

This may be inconvenient for your friend, but this is good for all of us.

I agree, @George_F. Low limits should encourage Contributors to upload only their BEST work instead of uploading thousands of hastily created junk assets.

I read your post. You didn't mention that it wasn't your request, but that's not the issue. As you can read from @Jill_C's answer, Adobe does not tell, what the upload limit is. They only say that there is an upload limit.

I just reacted to your initial claim, that with an upload limit of 50 you can't do anything. And my answer here is perfectly correct for that case. As your first 50 images, you should upload a selection of your very best assets. Then you wait for moderation. If you get many refusals, your upload limit will stay. And if you read what I wrote, you will read: your upload limit will grow with a high acceptance rate.

You're welcome.

exactly it doesn't matter if it's not for me, I have a high limit, so I know the reason I don't need to explain that it goes by rejections etc.

I had asked from the beginning for a new user starting out and in my opinion a limit of 50 so random is baso for such a long wait

evidently they want to limit the growth of new users who want to start selling images

I would assume they want to make sure new users understand the process and submit quality/in demand assets before allowing them to submit more than 50 at a time.

Moderation is expensive, and there isn't any money to be made with rejected assets.

Cheers!

Evidently, they want to limit new users submitting masses of bad quality assets, clogging the moderation queue and earning massively rejections. Evidently, as your situation shows, if new users prove, that they can submit good quality assets, their limit will grow to a more substantial number of outstanding assets.

Evidently, this will help all contributors, as moderation will go faster for us all, including the new users.

Evidently, that user is a friend of yours, so you can pass on the message, that when they submit high-value assets, they will get a more interesting upload limit.

If this is your second identity, that you established to circumvent your upload limit of 3000, you may face problems, as I read somewhere, that Adobe does not recommend this.

Yes, well if you think about it, it is much easier than knowing how to use a camera or Photoshop, you just have to write a text, there are more people doing that than before

I doubt that. At least, I think, that it is difficult to produce quality assets without knowing how to look at your assets. If it is so easy to write a prompt, there is no need to buy your pictures.

That's what you think, it's easy, very easy, you don't have to know how to write any prompts, after you select the version a parameter is set in the settings, you just write a text and a photo quality image is created without doing anything else, if a lot of people don't create their own images it's only because they are not informed, because at the beginning you have to pay a subscription, it's because they don't feel like it and prefer to download something already made, but it's easy even for a child to create content today, in the future if they implement earnings to stock photos using artificial intelligence inside Photoshop the earnings will go on if not sales will slowly die

This is just my personal opinion as you have yours of course
