Multiple files mistakenly rejected as an AI

Several of my files were rejected on the grounds that I did not specify that the work was generated by an AI program.
I have not used AI in any of my work, I rely solely on Photoshop. I am quite strict in my approach, to the extent that I do not even use AI options in Photoshop. For instance, I do not use the "generative fill" option; I exclusively use "content-aware fill" during my work or I use other tools to finish my images.
I see now on 100% that there are some mistakes that I have made while making this image, but its clearly not an artwork generated by an AI program.
This single image takes maybe a whole day of work, and its always frustrating to see multiple images rejected, especialy when the reason is not justified.

I am writing this because I simply wouldn't like my account to be suspended for reasons that are unclear to me.

You need to understand how Stock works:

  • Reviewers receive thousands of assets per week. Photos, Illustrations, Vectors, Generative AI and Videos.
  • Each asset is carefully evaluated which takes time.
  • There's no time to give detailed feedback to each contributor.
  • Reviewers check a box on an "all purpose, generic form" to over all contingencies.  This, or this, or that.

I assume you were given other reason (about three) as to why your image(s) was/were rejected. This is a very general reason for rejection and does not necessarily include AI as one of those reasons. Your account would not be suspended for any of these reasons. As these are original images created by you and not photographs, it's possible you may need to submit property releases to assure the moderators that these are original images created and owned by you yourself.

Yup, the third reason is Content not compliant with overall guidelines.
I will try to reuplod them with a propery release, but again, that was not the specific reason for the rejection.
Better luck next time I guess.

That might be it. Ideally, if its a property release issue, the images should go under the "Pending" tab to explain what your asset is missing and thus allow you to add a property release without having to delete the image and re-upload it, but that doesn't necessarily happen.

Non-compliant does not mean that your images are generative AI. It means that they are not compliant, and 2 reaseons of not compliant assets are related to generative AI. But the text is not specific to your assets. It's stock text. I even have that text on non-compliant refusals from 5 years ago.

The image shown here has major quality issues:

This is only one issue, there are many in this asset.

Yeah, that was the specific reason. Will use better technique next time. 🙂
