I have several timelapse clips that I shot with my camera and compiled into timelapse clips with minimal processing. Now Adobe is labeling it as AI. It's insulting and misleading, as well as undermining my trust with the people who license my footage. Many nature broadcasting networks, including Discovery Channel, PBS, and Nature Channel license my clips frequently, and count on ME to be a reliable source of REAL WORLD footage. This mis-identification undermines that relationship. It's insulting and infuriating. Please fix the problem immediately. I can't wait until this tacky AI phase is recognized for what it is - footage scraped from REAL video producers, and vomited out as something to take our sales away without regard for real-world nuances.
If there is genuine concern that this footage was shot with my camera, I will be happy to provide specific dates, locations, and untouched RAW files to prove it.

That's weird, since they don't even require Generative AI Contributors to include that identifier in titles or keywords. They have an algorithm now to identify Gen AI assets that aren't flagged as Gen AI, and it sometimes gets it wrong. There have been numerous instances reported here. Contact Contributor Support via the "Contact Us" link on your dashboard page, give them the asset numbers, and they'll remove the AI identifier.
Hello @CarlinPhoto, I have sent these details to be reviewed internally. Thank you for the report and sorry for the problem with the AI label.
Thank you, Jill!
Update: I contacted support and they promptly removed the Made with AI tag on the files I specified.
Support also say that Adobe would never add the words "Generative AI" to the end of the Title (which really did occur somehow), but it doesn't matter how it happened, I was able to go in manually to edit the Title and remove the words. Thanks for your help! Problem solved! 🙂
Are you using a 3rd party application to upload and submit your content? The only other time I have seen this, that was the culprit. I checked the files myself and confirmed that the words "generative AI" were added to the title when you submitted them. This was not done on our end, and other than the files that you manually removed "generative AI" from, the titles haven't been changed since you initially submitted.
For any remaining files, please go into the contributor portal and manually u

I'm confused by your titles on these three assets. Each includes the label "Generative AI".
Did you include that descriptor in the title? I've never heard of Adobe Moderators changing a title.

With this one, there is no Generative AI flag attached (maybe Adobe has corrected that), but the title is still containing the “Generative AI” label.

It's more weird, as assets that are very obviously generative AI don't get marked. Their AI marking program is probably missing the human perception.
I do not see, however, why Adobe changes in addition to the label also the title, except if I have missed something.

This has been happening to me as well.. and I've heard others. It is discouraging when you spend so much effort on an image (I do hand modeled 3d rendered images and videos) and then it gets carelessly stamped "AI generated" even though you have given every indication it is definitely not AI generated. I've been considering deleting the images in question - some of them were very good sellers prior to the AI mislabeling.
First time this happened Adobe was quick (within a day) to fix it. Since then however, I'm still waiting weeks after multiple requests. Not sure what else to do except delete them. 🤷

Yes, that is discouraging; given the frequency at which assets are falsely labeled as Gen AI, it seems they either need to change the algorithm or provide a more efficient channel for Contributors to report the errors.

Couldn't agree more. Looking this morning, the mislabelling is still there.
Gives me the impression that this isn't really much of a priority with Adobe. Perhaps time to delete and resubmit.

It may be a bug. I believe there have been reports of assets being incorrectly labeled as AI. In theory, moderators would not take the time to re-label an asset. Instead, if the moderator believed your assets were AI but you did not label them as such, you would have received a rejection for non-compliance.

Thank you for your response, Danielle!
It is most certainly a bug. I didn't receive any rejections for non-compliance. For the record, I have never submitted ANY AI content, even my animations. I am finding even more - some of my wildlife footage has been mis-labeled as well. This needs to be fixed immediately. Can you escalate it to the tech team? I will post the other links in a post below this.

Perhaps we shouldn't complain too much - "Real" Intelligence is also convincingly wrong from time to time.

... and I've been hit again with new incorrect AI labels. Noticed it this morning while checking stats. It's like getting randomly firebombed overnight. lol... I don't really have a big problem deleting the affected images as this is a fun hobby for me and said images are also on other microstock sites unmolested - but it is annoying, especially on higher sales images ..

That's not the issue in my case, no 3rd party applications used (just the Adobe website). Although the images in my case were not renamed, they were still incorrectly tagged by Adobe as AI generated. As mentioned prior - this has happened repeatedly.
Thanks..

I checked the files and only saw the title. The generative AI checkbox was not selected on any that I saw. What is a file number of an image that was added to the generative AI filter with the checkbox?
