For a world class photo that is free of technical flaws, I think skill and technique are as important or maybe even more important than the camera being used.
Adobe will accept photos from virtually any camera as long as it meets the submission requirements in the Stock User Guide . If you are looking at cameras though, I would consider a recent dslr or mirrorless camera.
Good luck!

Modern DSLR's, particularly the latest models, certainly provide a greater chance that your images will get approved because of higher resolution, better low light performance, and a host of other features that assist the photographer. To be sure though, the skill of the person behind the lens is more important than the equipment they use. You have to invest the time in learning how to balance the exposure triangle, how to use the light, how to frame a pleasing composition, and how to edit skillfully and subtly to bring out the details. Don't invest in a DSLR and expect it to do all the work for you!

The good pictures are important not the technology you use. With some technology, it may be easier, but you should first study the requirements, learn how to photograph and then take pictures to submit.

Almost all Stock photography today is captured with high quality digital cameras that support 22-40 megapixels.
But owning a camera won't make you a good photographer. You must know how to use it and learn what your camera is capable of. Some cameras are better at some things than others. The same goes for camera lenses.

Hi,
as said before the camera type is not important. Important is the technical Quality, that the Image is sharp, Lighting is good, no blur, no "defects" in the Picture, etc. Then check all the guidelines that there are the links posted blow and look if you have if necessary the Release forms. THEN check if the overall Quality is good an if a Customer would by your Picture and upload your Photo. Hope that helps.
