Hi there. I am a new content contributor and it has been 6 days since my submission. I did submit quite a bit of content so I imagine it has to deal with the amount of images I have submitted. On average, about how long does it take to get submissions approved? Is there a way I can get a status on my submissions? Thank you for the help!
Were your submissions Generative AI assets? This type of asset is taking 4-6 weeks to be reviewed at the moment, due to the many Contributors who are submitting hundreds at a time. You will not receive any status updates from Adobe, nor is there anything you can do to hasten the process, except to be patient. Meanwhile, be sure that you have complied with all of Adobe's guidelines for Generative AI:

If you have not complied, you should delete them now, and re-upload with the correct category, titles and keywords; otherwise they will ALL be rejected.

Ok thank you! Yes I have complied and I figured that was the case. Thanks again for the response.

Hello Jill_C,
If I submit some AI generated images in 2 weeks ago and I submit some ai images now, then will there be any impact on the review process time for next submit ? I mean can it be more delay? If not, then is it best to upload as many images as possible? or is it better to keep it within a certain limit, if there is a limit then how much? Is it 100 or 200 or more...?
Please tell me sir. Gladly waiting for your reply. Thank you.

I don't think it matters much either way when you submit assets. You still have to wait for review.
We don't know what the limits are for submission. Adobe Stock doesn't communicate with us about that.
If you ever reach it, you'll know what the limit is. Until then don't worry about it. Just focus on quality vs quantity.

Hey Nancy,
I recently reached the limit for submissions. In my case it was between 158 and 161 (exclusively ai generated). Of course I don't know if that's only a personal or ai limit...

That's one of the lowest limits I've heard of. Do you submit only AI assets? Have you had many sales? Has your rejection rate been high?

I exclusively submit AI assets and I just started, so I've had only a few sales yet. I had an issue with some of the first assets I uploaded. They were showing the silhuette of an existing person in a pop art/ comic style, apparently that was against the guidelines. I solved the issue and now everything works just fine, however that might have had an impact on my limits.

I think that perhaps Adobe uses your history as a Contributor, prior sales and rejection rate to establish the upload limit. Good luck with your future submissions.

Are you uploading more than 100 assets in one batch?
I think beginners should select 10-15 of their very best assets to submit.
Later, as you gain more experience about what Stock accepts/rejects, you can upload more.

Adobe generally reviews oldest submissions first, essentially "first in-first out", though we've occasionally seen comments from Contributors who report that they've been reviewed out of sequence. So, submitting more AI assets will not affect the review date of the ones you've previously submitted. There is definitely a limit as to how many you can have under review at any one time as announced by Adobe a few weeks ago, though no one seems to know exactly what that limit is. It really doesn't make sense to upload a bunch more until you've had some of the earlier ones moderated; then you will know if you're meeting the quality criteria, as well as the requirements for category, titles and keywords.

That may happen if assets get referred to a supervisor for additional scrutiny. https://community.adobe.com/t5/stock-contributors-discussions/submitted-images-review-skipped/td-p/9...

On average, Photos & Vector Graphics are reviewed in 5 - 15 business days.
Illustrations & Generative AI could take 1 - 2 months due to an immense backlog of AI assets.

For faster turnarounds, submit more real assets and fewer generative AI Illustrations.
To help aleviate the backlog, Stock is imposing limits on how many assets a contributor can have in the wait queue. What those limits are, we don't know yet. Focus more on quality instead of quantity. 😉

😲 wow, that's quite something… considering how fast the generative AI landscape moves, by the time your work is approved, it's already very potentially outdated by significantly improved AI-systems.

That's unlikely. But if that were true, nobody would still be buying products I made in the 2000s with legacy software.
Technology has very little to do with what people buy. They buy quality concepts & content that endures many seasonal cycles, year after year. If it's good today, it should be good tomorrow and this same time next year.

Probably not. But you could eventually produce higher quality assets by then, requiring less corrective measures.
