Payment Returned to My Adobe Stock Balance

Community Beginner ,
Mar 05, 2025 Mar 05, 2025

Hi, I recently requested a payout to my PayPal account, and the payment status showed as completed on Adobe Stock. However, the amount was later returned to my Adobe Stock balance, and I did not receive the payment in my PayPal account. I have initiated payout from Adobe Stock again today. Could you please help me understand why the payment was returned and how to resolve this issue?

Thanks for your support.

I suspect since the payout was completed on Adobe's end, you may wish to contact PayPal if it happens again.

It appears to have been a PayPal issue. Perhaps you entered the wrong email address?

You will need to contact PayPal for the reason the payment has been returned. In some countries, PayPal requires a different account type to being able to accept payments. If the payment fails, PayPal returns the money, and Adobe credits your account again.

I would be happy to help you, I had the same problem before and tried to withdraw money several times. Once the money leaves Adobe Stock it is no longer their responsibility.

Unless it is accepted by PayPal, it will be returned to Adobe Stock again within a certain period, often in 3-4 days.

This is my advice and it did solve my problem , contact with PayPal support team, the problem will often be that PayPal rejects the payment every time after sending it, this is because your information needs to be confirmed or corrected if it is incomplete. Call them (this is what I did) and they will solve the problem with you. ask them if you are now ready to receive the money 100% without any problems in the account Then resend the money from Adobe again.

Most likely this is what happens to you: The money leaves Adobe Stock successfully after 7-10 days ---› The funds wait for a period in PayPal queues (the 3-4 days mentioned above) until the details are reviewed by PayPal and accepted or rejected ---› There is a specific issue that is causing your payment to be declined when reviewing the payment.

PyPal's guidance is that returning the funds to the sender in case of an issue can take up to 30 days. When they are doing that faster, that's good. But 30 days is there estimate.

Hi @Jee Stock ,

You will need to check if you entered an error in your payment information when setting up where Adobe should send your payment. If that is correct, then you can contact PayPal to find out why the money was returned. Failing that, you can contact Adobe using the contact information on your contributor page.

Best wishes

Jacquelin
