This photo was rejected for Technical Issues. Just wanted to see if I could get some feedback to make sure I am more careful in the future. TIA

Cool photo, just not a very technically sound photo. Sometimes a well done fine art photo is everything a stock photo shouldn't be.
I think the depth of field is too shallow, you would want at least the main subject to be in focus. Only part of the main subject is sharp in this case.
I think the photo is too underexposed for a stock photo, even though I'm sure you did this on purpose.
I also think the bokeh distracts from the main subject.
I hope this helps!

Hi @heatherr3117785 ,
The photo is underexposed and too much is out of focus.

In addition to being out of focus, if you examine it at 200% you will notice too much noise.

Thank you so much. It was late in the afternoon when I got there so I had my ISO up a bit. I didn't look at it at 200% to see the noise before but now I see it. Thanks for this feedback. I will definitely look more closely before uploading anything. I appreciate this feedback. 🙂

Hello,
Yep, focus and underexposed. The flower is just too dark.
Have a read of this from Adobe about how to create better photos:

It might help!
