Currently have 373 photos in review - longest has been "in review" for more than a year - next one is six months. Is there a limit as to how many photos are reviewed per month?
Yes, many Contributors are reporting delays of 2-3 months in getting their assets reviewed. As suggested by @daniellei4510 I would probably delete those really old ones and resubmit. They seem to have fallen into a black hole!

If some of your assets have been wait that long, you should probably contact contributor support. The link is at the bottom of your Dashboard. Or, delete the oldest images, rename them, and resubmit.

There is no hard limit, but Adobe's resources are limited. However, waiting times of a year are not normal. As @RALPH_L correctly pointed out, the waiting times are erroneously labeled as submitted. It is indeed the upload time that is shown.
If they have been submitted a year ago, however, contact contributor support as suggested by @daniellei4510 . That situation would point to an account error that needs to be fixed by Adobe. https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/Need-Help-Contact-Us.html

Thank you everyone - I have three pictures that have been in moderation over a year the rest are between a few days ago but with about 125 at just over two months - the other 250 are between two months and last week. I've slowed down on my submissions since I'm not sure when things will be reviewed. I did reach out to customer support and received a ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ of we have a lot of submissions and we thank you for your patience. Is this typical these days? Is everyone else experiencing these kind of delays?

I would delete, rename, and re-submit the three that have been stagnant for over a year.
