Photos rejected due to quality issues

Hi, I'm not very experienced in submitting photos to stock agencies, but I've got a few approved and sold. But none of the latest group of photos I sent were approved and I would appreciate feedback from the community on some of the rejected photos. All of them were rejected due to quality issues.

Xícara café 01.jpeg - too tightly cropped, and there are specks of dust on the plate that should be removed

Madeira 01.jpeg - uneven focus 

Café com amendoim 01.jpeg - also too tightly cropped and DOF is too shallow, causing most of the image to be out of focus

Milly 06.jpeg - underexposed and white balance is too yellow

Madeira 01: Wallpaper/background type images exist for free all over the internet, or can easily be produced by even less than competent graphic designers. Even if accepted, this would probably never sell.

Phone cameras are quick & convenient for social media posts, but they don't quite cut it for commercial Stock photography.

Presentation is important, especially with food & beverage photos. You're competing with talented Contributors who have good equipment (dedicated cameras, lenses, proper lighting gear & tripod). 

Compare your best work with what's available in Stock. Be honest with yourself. As a customer, is yours really better than what Stock has? If not, it probably won't get accepted.

Hi @mario_hm,

The first file is excessively noisy and you need to reduce the highlights. 

For the second image you need to reduce highlight and increase exposure. This image also has chromatic noise.

The third image has a white balance issue. The dog coat is green. It too is noisy.

The fourth image has chromatic noise, poor composition and too much of a shallow depth of field. Most of the image is out of focus and you should include the entire drinking glass.

The fifth photo is not completely in focus. You need to increase the F-stop and not go in too close to get all the framing in focus.

The sixth photo is not completely in focus. It's noisy and the composition is not good. You should include the saucer.

To find the issues you need to zoom in at between 100 and 200% to inspect the images. All your images require post processing before submitting.

Shitzu 01: the fur looks like you used a small sensor camera, which "optimized" out the fine detail of the fur.
