Photos Rejected due to Quality... what am I missing?

Hey lovely stock people, 

I submitted a few photos last night and already had some of them rejected. Most of my stock has been AI or illustrations up until now, not so much photography. I did minimal retouching in PS RAW and exported jpegs from Bridge. 

I've seen a few comments on other posts about Adobe not usually accepting photos with shallow DOF. And I do see that my photos appear somewhat grainy (my camera is a bit old so I am not sure what to do about that). 

What do you think the reasons are for rejecting these so fast?

First one: lackluster composition, with the subject dead center in the frame. The other two appear to have a bluish cast in the leaves.

DSC_0592.jpg Is a bit underexposed, and very little is in focus.

DSC_0602.jpg has the same issues and is also noisy. Noise can be improved by using the Denoise feature in LRC.

DSC_0609.jpg Has the same issues.

i wouldn't spend much time on capturing and submitting this type of image. The database is overrun with floral and leafy images already and the chance that you would ever sell one is rather slim.

Composition could do with some work. I think the images are a bit too dark as well.

Faults in the flower. Even if these are natural, they make for a bad picture. As we are not nature photographers, we should correct this:

Most of the highlights and all the whites are missing.

Spotting the errors is easy and so, if a moderator gets your assets presented, they do not need much time to refuse. They don't do a complete analysis of your asset. The first error, they see earns the refusal.

You're facing too much competition from higher quality inventory.

Stock has 43 million leaf images, way more than demand.

Roses are one of the most frequently submitted subjects in the database. Your chances of making a sale are slim to none.

Look for subjects that have less representation. And compare your best work with current inventory.

The first photo is slightly blue. Assuming the subject is the blossom, there is too much negative space and you could have added a little more depth.

The second file is not sharp when zoomed. Also it's grainy. You need to do post-processing to remove camera error such as grain noise. That photo also has a white balance issue and could also be better exposed.

The third file is out of focus, has a white balance issue (too blue) and underexposed.
