Photos still In Review - So what does this e-mail mean?

Community Beginner ,

Hello fellow contributors.

This is our first time trying to submit photos to Adobe Stock.

We uploaded 10 photos, within 1 day we received the

"Evaluation complete, no photos selected"

We tried uploading a few more and had the same update e-mail within 1 hour...

But our photos are still sitting "In Review" on the dashboard.

Any idea what's going on?

I've never received such a message, even when I first started submitting assets. If your images are still on the "in review" tab under "uploaded files", they haven't been rejected. When they are reviewed, you will receive another email if you selected "daily moderation uodates" on the email preferences section of your Contributor Account tab. If you submitted photographs, you can expect them to be reviewed within 7-10 days. If you submitted illustrations or Generative AI assets it could take 1-2 months for them to be reviewed.

I'm trying to remember if someone has to submit a certain number of photos for an initial approval process before being accepted as a Contributor.  I know this is the case with Shutterstock, but I can't remember with Adobe.  Does anyone else remember?

Edit:  @Jill_C  clarified this is not the case

There's no initial screening process to become an Adobe Contributor. The process is described here:

https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/create-account.html

However, I understand that if you don't meet a minimum acceptance rate, perhaps 50% or higher, your account can eventually be closed by Adobe.

“Evaluation complete, no photos selected” looks like a message for adding assets to the free collection. If a new contributor gets that message, then there is a problem with Adobe's mailing system.

This is my guess also, since all the photos are still "In Review"

Very strange...

I guess we'll just wait until our first set is reviewed over the next couple of weeks.

You can contact contributor support, if you think that is a problem. https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/Need-Help-Contact-Us.html

Else, maybe we can get some insight from @MatHayward, as I think this to be interesting.

It doesn't sound like an Adobe Stock email that I am familiar with. Please forward the email to me via mhayward@adobe.com

Thanks,
