PNG File Not Reviewed for Several Months

I posted a PNG file several months ago, but it has not been reviewed.  Other files since posted, both jpg and png have been reviewed.  Why is the png file been ignored?

This doesn't seem to be a transparency, so why did you use PNG file type? No one knows why some assets get overlooked in the queue while other newer assets get reviewed. We assume that all will get reviewed eventually, however it may take a long time. I think this one will be rejected anyway because of some odd texture in the wings.

Thanks to both of you for responding.

It actually is a transparency, hence the png mode. I have submitted
similar photos, which were accepted with similar wing type…but one can
never be too sure of results until the file is reviewed. I may take the
delete/resubmit option, and give it another try. PNG photo transparencies
are a challenge in any case, but I enjoy trying…they seem to be popular in
my collection.

@Jill_C has a point about the quality of this image and the fact that it should be a jpg, but we have been suggesting that contributors with stuck files over 5 months might consider deleting them and resubmitting.
