I would assume that the Depth of field is to shallow and also Image is to soft/not sharp enough Details.

but some same ("soft") images were accepted. I can't find any logic here.

I think if I'll upload 2 accepted and 2 declined images - nobody will find out wich one is.

Are these generative AI by any chance? The Tiffanie cat looks unnaturally wide in the face while the right leg of the Abyssinian cat looks unatural and the neck appears extra wide or swollen as a result.

They both look AI generated to me.

Look at the filenames. If they are not generative AI…

I stand corrected on one issue. I generated an Abyssinian cat and they actually do have very thick necks. Or least hair that grows so that it looks that way.

Hello,
In my opinion, I think you could alter the tone and white balance somewhat.
The Abyssinian cat - reduce the yellow cast. The blanket should be white, shouldn't it?
For the other cat, I would lighten it up a bit more, add some more contrast, and make some very slight corrections to the white balance.
I think the fur in the eyes would be a reflection, so would be surprised if that is considered to be a fault.
I personally don't think that the soft focus is an issue, and doubt that was the reason.
