Hi there!
I just started out and one of my uploaded photos (a pano) got rejected due to quality problems. I actually over- sharpened it, as I initially edited it for printing. Now I have thought, about re- editing it (basically dialing down the sharpening) and reupload it again. But I'm not sure, if this is allowed and I don't want to risk getting blocked. Is it allowed to re- edit an image and re- upload it?
thanks in advance for any response and help! 🙂
Kind regards

Yes, you can re-edit it and resubmit. Also make sure to check the white balance, noise and artefacts, and any other quality issues before resubmitting.

I'm confused. Can you post the image in question?

Not sure what to tell you about this. I've probably had at least three dozen black and white images accepted, but they were very stylistic and...I don't know...REQUIRED being black and white?. But what I see here is just "mud." Over processing maybe? Bad cloning? Something isn't quite right.

ok, thank you for your honest opinion. It wasn't overprocessing in this case, as I was really minimalistic in this one. But perhaps it's really just lacking something. Really appreciate the honesty here.

Just had a quick look - first thing, don't do B&W./greyscale. This can be done by the downloader. Adobe recommends not to add B&W filters. Leave it RGB.

but just to understand it properly: you never upload bw? I honestly took this photo envisioning it bw, so my whole edit was based on this. Is it because it doesn't sell normally? What's the reason behind it?

Just make sure that while setting up the exposure you don't over do it as you can get the details in the exposure guide :https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/photography/discover/exposure-in-photography.html
I've seen a lot of images getting rejected because of low lighting so make sure your lightings are also up to teh mark.
