Query: Adobe Stock and Social media

New Here ,
Jun 10, 2020 Jun 10, 2020

I have a query regarding adobe stock photos that I upload for selling. Say I have an image that I am uploading to Stock, however, before uploading to Stock I post that image to a social media platform. Will my image uploaded for Adobe Stock review be rejected in this case (because the image is already on the internet)?

Adobe Stock is non-exclusive. You are welcome to post your content on social media.

This is an old post, but for all readers!

Now, I wouldn't publish it on social media, especially when Instagram and all meta apps have a rule that they use all content to train their own AI for free. So, whatever you upload to Instagram, they use it to train AI. I'd rather stick to adding files to Adobe Stock + Shutterstock, at least they'll pay you partly for training AI machines.

This is indeed an ancient post. And the question was if they are free to use an asset on social media. And that answer is still correct.
