Query Regarding Anchor Points in Vector Designs

I have noticed that certain types of vector designs, such as hand-drawn illustrations, brush-based designs, and wavy shapes, often contain a high number of anchor points after expansion. While simplifying the anchor points can help, it sometimes distorts the original shape, making it lose its intended appearance.

I have two main concerns:

1. If some of my designs with a high number of anchor points get approved and published, will this cause any issues for my account in the future? I have read in the contributor guidelines that excessive anchor points should be avoided.

2. For certain precise shapes, reducing anchor points significantly alters their accuracy. Therefore, keeping them in their original state with more anchor points seems necessary. Will this be acceptable, or should I avoid uploading such designs?

Since maintaining the visual integrity of my designs is important, I would greatly appreciate your clarification on how I should proceed regarding designs with many anchor points.

You can make a copy of an object you are working that has many anchor points. Then take the look-alike above the original and make it transparent so that you can see what you're doing. Now, you can reduce those anchor points and reshape that look-alike object above.  Once done, you can hide the original or delete it. You now have a reduced anchor point object without the distortions. 

This is what I do with out loosing the original quality of my drawings.

Don't forget to inspect the anchor points close up so you don't have some overlapping.

Some designs are very delicate, and if you reduce the anchor points, the shape of the design will be ruined. I have already mentioned this, but perhaps you didn't notice it carefully!

Usually I reduce the excess anchor point and submit. I never have a rejection for anchor point, neither an issue with my account because of vector anchor points. I don't believe Adobe expects you to remove more anchor points than the excess so as to cause your shape to get distorted. That would be removing more than excess.
