Re: my images rejected

Sziasztok! Most meg semmit. Ez miért van? ÍGy nem fog szaporodni a portfolióm. Sajnos.

1759374307002.jpg - the image seems to be simewhat underexposed, and there is haloing around the edges of the cross.

1759668174132.jpg - over exposed sky and chromatic sberration

Not all images should be shot in portrait orientation. Turn the phone sideways from time to time  when landscape orientation would produce a better composition.

Kedves Jill!

Dear Jill! Yes, I realized that in the meantime, I subscribed to a stock
assistance service where there is a lot of useful advice. By the way, my
photo has been downloaded on Shutter already, and also on Dreamstime. But
now I mostly take horizontal pictures and only upload the best ones.

Here is a detailed explanation of 1759668174132.jpg:

Untitled-1.jpg

1. The sky is overexposed and has lost most details. This is easily seen in the histogram where the pixels spike on the right side. Also, the histogram shows little highlights which also indicated a poorly exposed photo.
2. The edge of the prominent leaf is cropped to close.
3. This small debri is distracting and should be removed.
Additionally, I feel the buildings and cars on the oppisite bank are disturbing to the harmony.

In the following image, I corrected the above issues. I sharpened the photo a little. I adjusted the lighting by adjusting the global exposure and highlights and then blending in a little extra sky from a sky photo. The sky I then duplicated and reflected in the water to add some drama. I removed the debri at the bottom and the distracting buildings and cars. I repaired the cutoff leaf.
Notice the difference in the histogram? There are more middletones and no overexposed areas.
