Rejected for being similar to another photo I submitted

THis photo was rejected for being to similar to another that I had submitted.

I uploaded two other photos, one that was accepted. Not quite sure what it is simiar to One sunset photo that was accepted was shot at least 400 miles away from where this one was shot. This was shot on the Fraer River at Vancouver, BC. The accepted image was shot in Sointula, BC. The shot was of open water, and colouring is different.

Hello,

The two pics might be different, but they are also similar as they have a similar motive. The time is similar (sunset) and the tone is similar. So if these ones have a similar motive and are not sufficiently different from what was uploaded and accepted, that would explain why you got this rejection reason.

By now, Stock reviewers must all have "sunset-fatigue."  Adobe Stock already has 9 million sunsets + 5 million sunrises.  After a while, one sunset looks pretty much like another.  So unless your work contains something significantly different that makes it stand out from all the rest, it's unlikely to be accepted.

Perhaps you'd have better luck in less saturated categories.
