Hi

The following images were rejected for technical issues and I'm trying to figure out the reasons. Please help.

Thanks!

Hi C.L.Addison,

I like the composition of you photo. However the technical issues with the first to third photos are as follows:

Over saturated (You seem to have applied too much post processing in that area)

Lens flair to the right third just above the water

Color fringing (artificial color on the edges)

Color noise (The colors of the post are not smooth, and tend to display graininess)

Image four has a white balance issue. It is too cool (You need to increase the temperature slide a bit on you photo editor)

Also it is lacking depth of field (Almost a half of the frame is out of focus even though it is not forming the background for a stone. You need to increase your "f" value to take photos like this.

Image five too has a white balance issue. It is also too cool, and or lacking saturation or vibrancy

Image six is also a little too cool. You need to increase the temperature a bit on that one.

The final image also has a white balance issue. It is a bit too blue.

It also has a lens flair at the top of the left third of the frame.

To see all these issues please zoom your images to between 100 and 200%.

Best wishes

JG
