Hi there, I am a designer and new to this game and thought I might try upoad some unused images to see if they get picked up by other designers. I uploaded a bunch of images only to find that most of them have been rejected. I am struggling to understand why exactly. Any help on this would be really appreciated. Please see attached image. Thanks in advance 🙂

cheers,

Richard

These are too small to see any quality or technical errors, but abstract backgrounds are hit-and-miss on Adobe Stock as far as being accepted. There are nearly 53 backgrounds and wallpapers available on Adobe Stock. That's a lot of competition even if these had been accepted.

Thanks for touching base. Here's three of them at a larger size. Could you take a look at these please.

Well...like I said...there are 53 million backgrounds and wallpaper. And presently, Adobe is rejected even high quality assets as being too similar to other assets in the database. So even minor issues will this could be a reason for rejection. At least I'm assuming the rejection was for quality issues since you didn't exactly mention why.

They were rejected for quailty issues.

The imperfections highlighted in the images are supposed to be there as it supposed to emmulate a digital nature, but thanks for your feedback.

So I suppose I am trying to understand what the quality issues are exactly - is there any way to find out? Sorry for the the silly question - totally new to this kind of thing.

Here's what Adobe says:

Beyond that, you submit and see what sticks and what doesn't. There has always been a learning curve involved for many contributors, but the slope of the curve seems higher now than in the past. Yes, some questionable assets still manage to get through, but things seem more strict than they have been in the past.
