Rejected photo for tech reasons but good seller on another stock site.

I am fairly new to Adobe but have used a boutique stock site for a few years.  This photo was rejected for technical reasons by Adobe, but was my biggest seller on the other site and was even used in a couple of national magazines.  Just trying to learn -- any thoughts?

Hi,

The main issue is probably the blown out highlights on the side of the forehead.

Examine your image at 100-300% magnification.

• Focus problems (both eyes are not sharp).
• Lighting problems. Too much shadow on right side of model's face. Blown highlights on left.
• Framing.  Subject's head and chin are clipped.

Also a model release must be signed by parent or guardian.

In addition to what has already been said, the photographer should not be vissibe in the eyes.

Hello,

Different microstock sites have differing acceptance levels. There are a lot of contributers now, so the market is huge! So, the quality has to be very good now, and in your picture, there are a few reasons that would be cause for rejection as pointed out!
