Hello Adobe Community,
Hope you all are doing great !
I just wanted to know why these two images got rejected by adobe stock evaluators ? what changes i need to make to them specifically for adobe preferences ? since they were previously approved on most popular stock photos platform.
Will be highly grateful to you.
7-Copy: Adobe does not accept images where special effects filters have been used.
8-Copy: Underexposed.
The reason for rejection should be written,
but the cherry photo is overly edited.
Users can edit it too, so excessive editing is unnecessary.
As for the flower photos, it's unfortunate that you can't check the original photo 100%,
but if it's not a problem of noise or focus, it may be "lack of aesthetic or commercial appeal".

Yes i thought the same, an exact reason would be more insightful. For the reason's you provided does it mean adobe doesn't want creative editing/edit to convey a certain situation or eye candy images but rather photos neutral enough that a buyer can work on to his own needs ?
Although i really appreciate the time you took for the response. Thank you & wishing a great next/rest of the day !

It's good to have a specific use in mind, but I think that if you edit assets to meet too narrow a demand, they may be difficult to sell.
Designers can edit them using Photoshop etc., so excessive editing is not necessary.

I would guess: Quality issues. (Adobe gives you a rejection reason, and that rejection reason shows you why your picture got refused. But there may be many more reasons to reject an asset, as moderators refuse at the first sight of an error.)
You can't add pictures with obvious use of filter effects. Those filter effects can be added by the buyer if needed, but the buyer can't remove them.
For your second picture: I think you did also here apply kind of a filter, making the picture low key. You should only submit correctly exosed, sharply focussed assets. Buyers can make all modifications they need, when they have access to a qood quality picture, but they can't recover many of the errors done by overprocessing an asset, or even by an asset that has been shot incorrectly.

8 is underexposed and not well composed with very little in focus.

Its quite interesting to note these perspectives from all the experts, irony is that 8 is the only image that i was actually able to sell on the previous platform that i was in within few days of approval.
Although thank you for insight. Wishing a great rest of the day / next day !
