Because the waiting time is up to 8 weeks! You are in schedule!

I have numerous images (not AI) that have been waiting for more than 8 week, so stop berating the submitter.   It's hard to have much confidence in the process when I have some reviewed within days and then others, submitted at the same time, have been sitting for more than 2 months.

Abambo is not wrong. You'd be surprised at the number of posts from contributors stating something to the effect of, "It's been over a week and my assets have not been reviewed." There are indeed people who simply don't read.

At the time of submission, you received a message that moderation can take up to 8 weeks. I guess you didn't believe it?

My experience is thew reviews are taking longer than the stated 8 weeks, so apparently the review situation has continued to deteroirate.

Yes it has, particularly over the last 2 months. I've had <20 assets reviewed in the last 2.5 months. Oddly, some new images were reviewed within a couple of weeks while others have waited well over 3 months.
