Should I delete old low quality AI images since there are much better ones in my portfolio now?

My portfolio on adobe stock is mostly AI generated images that I create in neural network. The last ones I uploaded are of much higher quality than the first ones. I've long thought about cleaning up my portfolio and removing low-quality images where there are obviously a lot of artifacts, but I've only taken it up now, as there are over a thousand images in total. And it will take a long time to sort it all out separately. First of all, the images where artifacts are too conspicuous will go under the knife. Mostly these are old images from two years ago, which were made in midjourney 4. Which was much worse in quality. Last year when version 6.1 came out, plus they added personalization, it got many times better. I pumped up my personalization model and it produced much better quality images afterwards. About 30 images I've already deleted. Then I will see if there are images too similar and delete some of them too.

There is this question. Is it even worth deleting images that have already been accepted? Some old images I just don't consider to be of high enough quality right now. Others I will delete because there are too many similar ones. How many will be left in the end, I don't know. But on the other hand, they've already been accepted. Will it affect sales for better or worse? But at least there is less chance that someone will be dissatisfied with the purchase.

And another question like this. Some old images that I don't think are of high enough quality now and I'm thinking of deleting them. But they have been downloaded a couple times. At most 2 times. But still I think that since they have been downloaded, maybe they shouldn't be deleted. But in terms of quality I don't like them now, I would delete them.

Only delete them if you are planning on replacing them with better quality. Anything that has been download should not be deleted.

As @RALPH_L  indicated, don't delete any that have previously sold. There's no real benefit to deleting older unsold images, and as you've surmised, it will be time consuming to do so. Nevertheless, if it gives you satisfaction to purge substandard assets, do so at a pace that doesn't waste too much of your time - maybe 10 or 20 a day?
