I'm so tired of this! Similar content! So what! Why can't content be similar? When you go to a bakery and see the same assortment, you don't say "similar assortment" and leave without buying! I'm now addressing the Adobe staff. It's normal when things are similar to each other! There are also many similarities in nature - similar flowers, similar animals, similar people. And the human eye perceives this or that angle better, so as artists/designers we are forced to use the same angle or composition! We cannot use another inappropriate angle because Adobe marketers believe that all content should be completely different! And even if you really wanted to, you won't be able to make absolutely similar content, one way or another it will be different!

Even the bakery has to limit what it offers because space is limited and the customer wants some vareity.

The issue is more that the similar image detection gets it wrong a lot of times. This also reduces the amount of fresh content available to buyers, and newer content, especially in AI, where newer content may be better as AI engines are evolving rapidly.
If it were judged by humans where buyer appeal is evaluated, I would agree with you, but I feel it is AI evaluating the images, as some are rejected literally hours after submission, and when checked on stock.adobe.com image search, the results are unrelated to the rejected image.

Not here, you're not. Adobe staff rarely if ever participate here. This is a user-to-user community.
This is what Adobe says about Similar Content. From their standpoint, it's not a Stock problem.
