Sparkle Type Design: Expanding vs Keeping Editable in EPS Format

Sparkle Type Vector Designs or design elements that are typically created with gradients in a shiny or light effect style—do they need to be expanded before submitting? I’ve seen many people upload such designs without expanding them so that they remain editable. How is that even possible? If you save these kinds of designs in EPS 10 format without expanding them, the design does remain editable, but upon reopening, the design doesn’t maintain its original quality—it gets distorted or ruined! Is there any issue if I expand and upload these designs, making them non-editable? While I understand the designs will likely be approved, I’m wondering if there will be any problems in the future if I submit non-editable versions, even though many people keep such designs editable.

If a design does not open in the correct quality, it's not worth your effort. EPS is not the preferred vector format on Adobe stock. Use Adobe Illustrator for that.

Assets should be organized such that they retain a maximum of editability and are correctly grouped and layered.

EPS is a zombie file type.  I don't remember the last time I used EPS, it was too many years ago.

I prefer native Adobe Illustrator files (.ai) that are easily editable in Illustrator.  Or, vector art that's exported to .svg for use on the web.

Stock generates the preview Jpeg and Png (with transparency) for you.  That gives customers plenty of options to work with.

Your question is too vague to answer with any certainty.
