Hello

Do you know what are the acceptance or rejection criteria for stock content related to illustrations and 3D. In photography and videography these criteria are clear but I can't find much information about illustration and 3D information.

Thanks you

Hi @Yoshua5CB5,

Stock contributors issues should be asked in the stock contributors forum.

The following guidelines should help. As of my knowledge, you cannot submit 3D models if you are not invited to do so. However, Illustrations and 3D renders are vetted like photos, if they are pixel graphics and like vectors if they are vector graphics.

If you are new to stock, you should consider these resources: https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/tutorials.html
Please read the contributor user manual for more information on Adobe stock contributions: https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/user-guide.html
See here for rejection reasons: https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/reasons-for-content-rejection.html
and especially quality and technical issues: https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/quality-and-technical-issues.html

You say that an invitation is required to upload 3D models but in the case of illustrations and 3D renders they are reviewed like photos. If I understand correctly, you mean that images that are in their "entirety" a 3D model only and illustrations and vectors where some element of the image is a render (but not the image, scene or whatever is) are considered two different things and only the first one requires Adobe's invitation but the second one does not and is reviewed just like a photo?

This is correct

Every asset that is submitted is vetted. But 3D models are special items, and you need to get an invitation if you want to contribute. As submitting 3D is not open for all contributors, there are also no guidelines publicly available. The same for sound and music and other types of assets.

Maybe you could precisely tell us, what you would submit. It's easier than to write about theoretical cases.

These are two files.

One.jpgTwo.jpg

The number one is a 3D model of a city; while the second one (number two) is an illustration with 3D renderings.

To upload image number one I need the Adobe's invitation and for image number two I do not.

Is this correct?

These links pertain to Vector artwork:

This is Adobe Stock's policy on Premium and 3D assets:

https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/premium-editorial-3d.html

"Our Premium collection includes hand-curated stock photos and illustrations, and our 3D collection features cutting-edge 3D models, lights, and materials.

For now, our collections of premium and 3D images come from a relatively small group of artists and agencies by invitation only. Over time, we may be expanding or differentiating these collections — we’ll keep you up to date in our Contributor newsletters and notifications."

Hope that helps.
