Tax Form W-8BEN Tax Witholding

I am a UK individual. The US (IRS) will withold tax on any of my Stock sales.

I have been asked to provide a Foreign Tax Identifying Number (FTIN)

item 6a on the W-8BEN Form. I am at a loss as to where to find such a

number?Any UK-based Aobe Stock Contributors there to help me? 🙂

This number will be your tax number. So in item 6a, insert your UK tax number.

(This will probably be your NI number.)

Like @ricky336 said, your UK tax number. If you are not required to pay UK tax and you have no number then check 6b.
