Hi Experts,

I am a newbie and would like to understand a bit more about how the attached pictures can be improved, for which I received a "Technical Issues" comment.   Whilst I appreciate that the subjects may be uninspiring, I am more interested in understanding how I can improve the technical quality of the photos.  Any feedback you may have would be very welcome.

Thanks!

The street scene is leaning - verticals need to be vertical. The sky is overexposed, and the shadows are underexposed. You've also got sensor or lens spots in the sky. Always examine your images zoomed in at 100% before submitting. When you have blue sky, it's almost  guaranteed that you'll find a few spots that need to be cleaned up. In every commercial picture, you need careful planning as to what is sharply in focus, and what you want to be out of focus, using the depth of field. You have a nice snapshot of Hay, but it can't be said to be world class commercial photography. Nothing seems to be in focus at all.

You would have had to scrub every one of those signs, which, given the commercial appeal of this image, might simply be too much work...
The grassy scene is unfocused as the previous community member noted; but you also have underexposed shadows and a blown-out area in the sky.

Hi @Nemi Raj ,

Both images have perspective problems - leaning vertical objects. They are also under exposed, plus the other issues mentioned.

Best wishes
