First of all a compliment to the great picture composition!

I often do not understand myself why my pictures are rejected. But with the attached picture it is perhaps the clouds that are not reproduced so correctly. Then: Photographs with people on them are always a bit problematic, because authorizations of the people shown have to be submitted.
The last not insignificant point is: Adobe Stock and Shutterstock already have so many pictures that I suspect that they don't want to accept all of them. I could imagine that they then partly (e.g. randomly) reject pictures with an arbitrary argument.

Vielen Dank my friend.

Unfortunately I am a photojournalist, and my shots are based mostl on
people situations and social issues, but I would try to change my proposal
focusing on more unsual images with less people inside.

I also suspect StockAdobe tendency is refusing images shot with Android
system based devices.
Hope that is not the issue.

Auf Wiedersehen!

Sprechen Sie deutsch? Ansonsten versuche ich es auf englisch:

I just read that ASt checks the photos in 100% size. When I looked at your photo in full size, I saw that the sitting black man on the wall looks like "washed out".

Adobe do not accept editorial pictures of people, some other agencies will do so. But editorial pictures greatly limit your market, because they cannot be used for promotion or advertising. You have other IP issues as well, such as a photo of an advertising hoarding, and maybe recognisable clothing brands or refrigerator. It is a powerful picture of human tragedy - would you really want it to be used to sell products....? Because that's the use you are offering it for.

PS This does not address the technical issue, I know, but Adobe only report one issue at a time. You will not get further even if you resolve all the tech issues...

I have already answered to your question.

I reckon what you are writing in this context, representing your personal
opinion, whom I honestly found a little hypocrite, sorry for my sincerity.
Adobe has written "technical issue" when it has rejected my image, nothing
concerning ethic code.

Therefore in my opinion, this is the point concerning the picture you don't
like.

Again regards,

Dear Friend,

I am a photojournalist and my work is mostly doing reportage.
The photo you are commenting was taken to report human tragedy in Brazil
indeed, such photo has been shot near to the Planalto, Bolsonaro
presidential palace, as well not too far from the the Brasilia Cathedral.

Despite that, nobody actually is helping strand people like that living in
such conditions.

Such photo is not to be used for advertising or promotion of course, but
just to be proposed in case to media agencies or magazines interested to
denounce human tragedy like the one described in my picture.

Therefore I hope to have answered to your questions about it.

For further information, just click on my blog by il Fatto Quotidiano
italian newspaper, which is hosting my articles and images:

So sorry but Adobe does not currently accept editorial content from individual contributors. See link below for details.

https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/editorial-requirements.html

Regardless of technical issues, if your submission does not have model releases the image cannot be used commercially and Adobe Stock will reject it. This is necessary to protect you,  Adobe and Stock customers from possible lawsuits.

If you look at Stock images of slums, most have no recognizable people in them.

Reasons for content rejection -

Dear Nancy OShea,

I have read your comment with much interest and found two contraddictions
comparing it with the link you have provided.

1) Editorial content is not forbidden to individual people, just limited by
some restrictions concerning specific events or breaking news, famous
architecture subjects and artistic works under copyright rules.

Concerning people, restrictions do regard staged imaginary pictures of
people.

It means artificial photographs with people inside, not acting spontaneous
but staged by an external direction of a photographer or video maker. See
following link:
https://www.theodysseyonline.com/staged-photography-ethical

The photo of the people in the slums near to the Brasilia building (not
recognizable as well) is not staged: I have just catched one of the moment
of their daily life.

Concerning slums, the lady is walking, showing only her back. The little
girl shot is taken on the front, but her face is not easy recognizable and
she is not the main subject of the photo, just part of the drama
represented in my image.

Therefore, if the Stock Adobe team has declined my picture cause of
"technical problems" and not cause of "ethical issue" or "model regulations
infringement" in absence of release, the true reason should be found in a
possibile photo technical defect.

I am a professional freelance photojournalist by the way, what you have
listed on your email, is well known, cause it is part of my field.
See the following link concerning my job:
https://www.ilfattoquotidiano.it/blog/fbacchetta/

Thank You much for Your advises, and the Stock Adobe links provided.

Best Regards,
Flavio Bacchetta

To address the technical issues, you have noise in the clouds and the reflection in the building to the right. Also, some of the buildings and the trees and on the left have a bit of a strange look, not very clear.

But as others have mentioned, the big issue is that this is editorial and if you look at the first link given above, it states (and is even highlighted with a box around it) "Currently, we are not accepting editorial submissions from individual contributors.". Also, the woman and child are very much recognizeable in any case.

Your photo is interesting and if you canget  past the technical issues, it could work on other sites who accept Editorial photos, which may be a better fit with your style of photographs. Best of luck.
