Hello @Goran5EDA , like we tell almost everybody, "you need to view your photos at 100% to 300%"!

If you do, you will clearly see that your cameras JPEG converter has created posterization artifacts in the sky around all of the edges.

Adobe Stock does not automatically reject iPhone images; however you do still need to run them through an editor to fix any issues. Upon first glance, I can detect that this image has a white balance problem; the snow is too blue/gray. Since you did not post a full size image, I cannot zoom in to see if there are other issues. Moderators will always zoom in to at least 100% to look for fringing, focus issues, and other artifacts.

Adobe stock does accept black and white images, but only in very rare cases.

Hi @Goran5EDA ,

To maximize the potential for sales it is best uploading your images in color and allow the customer who wants black and white do the conversion.

Some customers need their images for print projects. Where details are lost will turn out plain. When printed. dark areas will turn out plain black, over exposed, or too white will be plain without details. It is important that all contrasting details are visible.

Hi @Goran5EDA ,

I do believe there is too much of a wide dynamic range. Some places details are lost because of being too dark, others because of too white.

In addition to lens and sensor sizes, telephone cameras do not have the flexibility of optical zoom and large depth of field. My experience with digital zoom, the final product is not of high quality. Depth of field is important for completely sharp images. But as was highlighted, your images are not judged based on what they are taken with, but the final products to be sold along with those taken by modern, DSLR cameras used by experienced photographers.

Your phone camera has limitations that will allow you to take good quality of limited subjects. With practice you will be able to identify those subjects, but for greater flexibility you might need a larger camera.

I use Adobe Lightroom Classic for the majority of my edits, and occasionally have to do additional editing in Adobe Photoshop. There is also a version of Adobe Lightroom that will run on your iPhone or iPad. There is a bit of a learning curve, but it's time well spent if you're at all interested in improving your images. There are many training courses available for Lightroom, as well as tutorials on Adobe website, and lots of free content on YouTube relating to both Lightroom and Photoshop.
