Hi everyone,

Do you tether your camera to your computer during photo shoots?

Which tethering software do you use and what are the pros & cons with it?

I'm considering a new purchase and I want to get my ducks in a row BEFORE I commit to a new camera.

I tried once tethering, but I gave up because the Wi-Fi transfer was too slow for raw files. I was on double Wi-Fi (camera and laptop) so do not really know who put on the breaks (but my laptop has a slow Wi-Fi) and I did not further investigate, as, at the time, it was not something I wanted to do on a shoot. So, I use it only for calibrating my lenses for sharp focus. There I use whatever my camera offers (Canon EOS5DMIV) together with Lightroom.
