Hello,
why this picture was accepted on other site but not here. The reason is not clear they just said "Thanks for giving us the chance to consider your image. Unfortunately, this image doesn't meet our quality standards so we can’t accept it into our collection. Common issues that can impact the technical quality of images include exposure issues, soft focus, excessive filtering or artifacts/noise....."

thanks

Never ask the question "why somewhere else but not here?". Youll never get an answer. By the way. It happens both ways.

The only thing I see in the image is that even the highlights and whites are very dark. Also, an IP release may be needed.

Adobe's turf, Adobe's rules. They are free to refuse your assets for any reason, even if you got acceptance with the best of the best stock providers.

Looking from my iPad, I would assume exposure problems. Your picture is underexposed. You also have chromatic aberration and noise (chromatic and luminar):45A9DA93-4663-4AAB-88C7-4A45833520BB.jpeg

And I agree with @RALPH_L , you will need a property release from the artist of this.

Now, on my PC and looking at the histogram, I see the whites (right) missing and part of the highlights:

The reason is not clear (..)

By @Jean Pierre28369776ykn3

The reason is quite clear: Quality issues: you just need to copy the heading, next time, the text is filler text for novice users. But look at your picture at 100% and 200% and you see the problems, like noise, chromatic aberration and other artefacts. Look at the histogram, and you see the missing whites and probably also part of the highlights missing (right of the histogram).

In addition to the comments from @Abambo @and @RALPH_L , if you decide to photograph this again under better lighting conditions and can get a property release from the artist, make sure the object is pristine; clean it thoroughly with a microfiber cloth to remove all dust, hairs, smears, etc. The camera reveals every flaw !

Correct! Digitally reducing dust and hair is a big work to do. Dust is very visible on anything that is black or white.

Too dark. Missing details. More than 75% of this uimage will print in black ink which is too much black.

Examine image in Photoshop at 100-300% magnification.

Here I adjusted levels to make it brighter & cropped out empty space.

Guidelines show the face is vertically off center or your camera was positioned incorrectly.

Also depth of field is a bit too shallow. Edges are not sharp.

Hope that helps.
